In accordance with the Great Commission to "teach all nations" (Matthew 28:19), Eastland Baptist Church is committed to preaching the gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, not only in our community, but around the globe. Just as God is  "no respecter of persons" (Acts 10:34), Eastland is devoted to reaching each and every person by the teaching of his word at the local church, through its ministries and by Eastland's support of missionaries throughout the world.       

OUR GOAL

To reach our community and beyond for the cause of Christ by Preaching and Teaching the Glorious Gospel of our Lord and to present Him as The Light to those consumed by darkness.

Then spake Jesus unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. (John 8:12)

Our Burden is

Reaching
Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. (James 5:20) 

our commitment is

Preaching
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first and also to the Greek. (Rom 1:16)

Our desire is

Teaching
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen (Matthew 28:20)
